Community Sentiment survey

Thank you for taking the time to complete this Community Sentiment Survey within the City of Nedlands. Your feedback will help guide the direction of the City’s new Local Planning Strategy.

To meet a priority objective in its Council Plan 2023 – 2033 (Our Plan Our Future) and the requirements of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme) Regulations 2015, the City of Nedlands is reviewing its Local Planning Strategy and Local Planning Scheme No.3.

The goal of the review is to reach a refreshed understanding of the community’s desires and priorities to help inform the City’s planning decisions over the next 10 years, having regard to population, social, environmental and economic changes.

This survey seeks to understand overarching community sentiment around the key topics of housing, retail hubs, community spaces and transport. 

With this initial feedback, the City plans to run further workshops for broader discussion with stakeholders and the community in the months ahead, to inform an updated draft Local Planning Strategy.
