The site preparation for the coastal restoration along the primary dunes in Swanbourne has been progressing well. Brushing works have commenced and weed control is ongoing. The site is currently being planted with local provenance seedlings which is due to be complete by mid-June.

This project is in partnership with the Swanbourne Coastal Alliance and the Western Australian Planning Commission’s Coastwest Program, and will assist the City to reduce erosion, control environmental weeds as well as increase habitat and improve ecological corridors.

For queries, please contact the City's Environmental Conservation Coordinator on (08) 9273 3500. Further updates on this project will be posted on this page.
