Element Advisory Pty Ltd has applied to the City on behalf of Ramsay Health Care to construct and operate a new Mental Health Unit at Hollywood Hospital on their property at 101 Monash Avenue (Lot 564), Nedlands. The mental health unit is located on the eastern side of the property and will replace some of the existing buildings on the property. The building is two storey with under-cover car parking provided for 27 car parking bays.
The development is proposed to be located outside of the designated ‘future development area’ and ‘building envelope’ as indicated on the masterplan document. The setbacks, building height and plot ratio are all compliant.

The demolition of existing Hollywood hospital buildings to make way for the construction of an $11.3 million two-storey extension to Hollywood Hospital's existing Mental Health unit was approved on 13 March 2019.
The development will accommodate an extra 30 beds, a undercover car park to fit 27 parking bays, including one ACROD bay, and will remove 23 car parking bays at ground level as well as some trees and vegetation.
