An application has been lodged with the City for the construction of a supermarket, speciality shops, food and beverage tenancies and kiosks, pharmacy, medical centre and a gym.

The application includes upgrading the Captain Stirling Hotel, car parking and landscaping and the demolition of five neighbouring houses.

The City is currently preparing a Precinct Plan for the recently identified Nedlands Town Centre Precinct, of which this site forms a key part. Community consultation and an engagement page is currently being progressed for the Nedlands Town Centre Precinct.

    • At the Administration Centre, Stirling Highway, Wednesday, 4 September, 5.30-6.30pm to discuss the proposal with City Planning staff
  • Ask us a question using the tab below
  • View the plans at the Administration Centre, Stirling Highway
  • Complete an online submission, or
    • Email a submission to council@nedlands.wa.gov.au, or
    • In writing via post (PO Box 9, Nedlands, 6909), or
    • Drop a copy to Administration, 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands

    The City is currently working through submissions and reporting back to the applicants. The City’s officers are required to address your submissions in the reporting to the Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) and the applicants invited to do so as well. If you provided a submission on this application, you will be invited to view the report a week prior to presentation to Council and JDAP. Please note that the reporting dates have yet to be finalised.
