Storm water drainage maintenance
Share Storm water drainage maintenance on Facebook Share Storm water drainage maintenance on Twitter Share Storm water drainage maintenance on Linkedin Email Storm water drainage maintenance linkThe City has appointed Contractors, Drainflow Services to undertake storm water drainage maintenance and associated works from Monday, 4 February 2019 for five days during weekdays between 7am and 3pm.
The works will include high-pressure water jetting, CCTV inspection of the existing storm water pipe network and remove debris.
Please be aware that street parking along Waratah Avenue will be temporarily unavailable as service vehicles move between each drainage pit location.
Traffic management and Traffic Controllers will be in place to assist motorists and pedestrians to move safely around the work area.
Local residents will continue to have access.

Council approves improvements
Share Council approves improvements on Facebook Share Council approves improvements on Twitter Share Council approves improvements on Linkedin Email Council approves improvements linkThe Council at its meeting on 27 November 2018 endorsed the amended Waratah Avenue design including the provision of a roundabout at the intersection of Alexander Road, subject to the number of available car bays being retained.

The City will now progress with the schedule for implementation. Further communications and liaison with business and property owners will occur at key stages of the project as it progresses.

This project stems from the Waratah Place-Making Strategy (see document library) developed in partnership with the community in 2015.
