Taylor Road (Between Stirling Highway and Princess Road) - Road Resurfacing and Associated Works
Due to the heavy rain occurring on the 9 and 10 February 2017, the program for completing these works have changed. The new expected completed date is Friday 10 March 2017 (previously 23 February). The amended schedule follows:
- Asphalt works: 24 February 2017
- Sealing, kerb survey, installation of pram ramps: 27 February 2017
- Installation of new kerbs: 28 February to 3 March 2017
- Completion of kerbs and installing concrete aprons: 1 to 3 March 2017
- Finishing works for pram ramps, asphalting of road: 9 March 2017
- Completion: 10 March 2017
There will be periods of time (approximately 4 hours) following the laying of new asphalt road surface where access to properties may be limited due to the drying time of the bitumen. In addition, parking on the road will be required whilst the crossover aprons are being installed to each property.
Properties with reticulation may have their reticulation temporarily re-routed during the construction period. The City will repair any damaged reticulation in the verge, however property owners need to ensure that the reticulation system is tested and any faults are reported to the City within two weeks of the works being completed. After this period the City cannot be held responsible for repairs.
