Street Signage Upgrades

Street signage is being upgraded across the City over the next 6 months. This program is undertaken as part of the City’s maintenance programs to improve the visibility of the signage as well as providing consistency in design standards.

Areas of Mt Claremont are a focus as there is still signage that was installed by the Developer which has either faded or sustained damage making it difficult to see and read.

The program of works is as follows:

• Floreat: Completed
• Mt Claremont (Between Stephenson and Mooro Drive): Currently underway
• Mt Claremont (Between Mooro Drive and Alfred Road/Brockway): May 2017
• Mt Claremont (Between Cottesloe Golf Course and Mooro Avenue): June 2017
• Mt Claremont (St Peter’s Square): July 2017

During the upgrade process, there will be some instances due to visibility issues where existing poles may need to be relocated or replaced. However in most circumstances the only change will be the replacement of the sign blade itself.
