Stirling Highway - Brick Paving Rehabilitation Works
The City have appointed Civcon Civil to undertaken rehabilitation works on the following footpaths during September and October 2017:
- Webster Street to Stanley Street: 4-13 September
- Louise Street to Doonan Road, including Vincent Road: 12-27 September
- Doonan to Taylor Road, including Marita Road: 25 September to 9 October
- Williams Road to Meriwa Street: 10-23 October 2017
The works will be undertaken during weekdays between the hours of 5:30 am – 3:00 pm on the westbound verge and 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on the eastbound verge, with single lane closures in place around the work site.
The works will include:
- Kerb and minor paving removal
- Installation of new drainage pits
- Service lid re-levelling works
- New kerb installatin
- Remove and reinstate crossover aprons
- Paving works
Signage will be displayed on the approaches to the works area and on-site traffic controllers will be providing assistance to motorists and pedestrians to safely traverse the area.
If you are a resident or a property owner, there may be a period of time following the installation of a new concrete crossover or paving where you cannot have vehicle access to your property. In this instance, Civcon Civil will liaise with you to arrange secure parking at the City of Nedlands library car park.
