Mt Claremont Oval Reserve - Upgrade of Pathways
The City will be upgrading two pathways (click on heading above to see the map) at Mt Claremont Oval Reserve from Thursday, 5 April for a period of three weeks. Once upgraded they will consist of red asphalt and limestone with limestone spillways installed at intervals to address water runoff.
The works are anticipated to take up to three weeks to complete. During this time the pathways will be closed between the hours of 7am and 4pm with pedestrians being diverted to adjacent pathways.
There will be access from Cleland Street to Alfred Road either via Lisle Street or the eastern pathway adjacent to Montgomery Avenue and Mount Claremont Primary School.
Signage will be displayed on site two weeks prior to works commencing to inform reserve users about the upcoming construction works and path closures.
The pathways are being upgraded in accordance with the City’s Natural Area Path Network Policy.
