Minora Road, Dalkeith - road surface upgrades and associated works
The City has appointed Contractors Civcon to undertake road resurfacing and associated works on Minora Road from 22 October 2018 for a period of up to four weeks, during weekdays from 7am to 5pm.
Contractors and/or Council staff may be on site the week prior to undertake project preparation works for example removal of the kerbs.
The resurfacing works include the installation of new drainage, kerbs, driveway accommodation and a new asphalt surface following the removal of the existing pavement.
During these works, road closures will be in place with detours around the work site. Local traffic will continue to have access and on-site traffic controllers will be happy to assist.
Some irrigation systems on the verges may be damaged during this period. If you are a property owner or resident, please ensure that you test your reticulation system and report any faults to the City within two weeks of the works being completed. After this period the City cannot be held responsible for repairs.
For operational enquiries, please contact Civcon's Site Supervisor, Mark Barnard on mobile 0435 722 584.
