Lesley Graham Reserve and Godetia Gardens, Mt Claremont - Landscaping upgrade

The City will be undertaking a landscaping upgrade of Lesley Graham Reserve and the Godetia Gardens nature strip (outside the Arenga Court units) from February to May (due to seasonal conditions).

The landscape upgrade is to improve amenity of the Reserve and Gardens. Works will include creating uniform plantings using a range of waterwise plants, removing inappropriate plants, converting areas of poorly performing turf to garden beds, mulching, installing kerbing to separate the garden areas from the turf areas and constructing a small loop path.

Unfortunately some inappropriate trees or shrubs will need to be removed as part of the landscape works, as follows:

Ficus adjacent to No 1 Primula Place
Conifers in the walkway behind No 7 and No 9 Primula Place (staged removal)
Conifers outside No 15 Primula Place
Robinia psuedoacacias (Moptops) beside memorial seat on Bromilow Green.

Works scheduled are proposed as followed:

February/March 2018 - installation of kerbing and a small loop path
April 2018 – inappropriate plant removals
May 2018 - planting and mulching of garden beds.
