Partial Road Closure - Nidjalla Loop - Further review of intersection treatment

Following concerns raised by some residents, the City has undertaken a further review of the proposed works.

The City had arranged for the final construction to take place by January/February 2017 which is as a consequence of Contractor availability. However alternative Contractors are currently being sought who may be able to construct the works earlier.

An upgrade of the temporary treatment to a more robust treatment with water filled barriers, sandbags and signage will be undertaken as a matter of urgency, including the placement of a variable message board until the final treatment is installed.
