Boronia Avenue (from 45 Boronia Avenue to Stirling Highway)
Roads2000 have been contracted to undertake road resurfacing and associated works in Boronia Avenue for a four week period commencing on 16 January 2017. These works will be undertaken during weekdays between the hours of 7.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Restrictions will apply when the works are being undertaken at the intersection with Stirling Highway. Signage will be displayed advising of same accordingly.
Road closures will be required with detours in place. These closures will cease at approximately 4.30 pm each day to minimise inconvenience, however we do ask that residents consider increasing their commuting times during peak periods.
Access to your property will be available at all times, however there may be short periods when access cannot be permitted. On these occasions, the City will ensure that contact has been made with you and suitable alternative arrangements have been agreed.
The kerbing will also be replaced and upgraded and where necessary the reticulation will be temporarily rerouted to allow the works to proceed. If the reticulation on your property is damaged during this process, the City will make good the repair. However it is important that the reticulation system be tested and any faults be reported to the City within two weeks of the works being completed. After this period the City cannot be held responsible for repairs.
The works will include:
Drainage | 16 to 18 January 2017 |
Kerb removal | 19 to 23 January 2017 |
Profiling works | 23 January 2017 |
Asphalt corrector | 24 January 2017 |
Spray sealing | 24 January 2017 |
Kerb installation | 27 to 30 January 2017 |
Concreting | 31 January to 2 February 2017 |
Brick paving | 3 February 2017 |
Backfilling | 6 to 7 February 2017 |
Asphalting | 8 February 2017 |
City considers that the works to be undertaken will be of mutual benefit for ratepayers, businesses and road users of the City and cooperation during this time is greatly appreciated.
