The City is inviting comment on our Retention, Acquisition, Improvement and Disposal of Land Policy

The policy is for the purpose of to assisting Council to make informed, accountable, and transparent decisions when considering its landholdings. The policy aims to provide a framework in which the City can consider best and highest use of its land-asset portfolio, whether it be through ‘financial value’, ‘social value’ or ‘environmental value’. The policy will form the basis of the City’s Land Investment Strategy, which is currently in development.

Community input provides valuable information to assist the Council in making decisions to approve the policies.

How can you get involved, find out more or provide feedback?

  • You will be required to be a registered participant in order to submit your comments. If you have not already registered, please use the "Register to be involved" tab at the top of this page.
  • Read the documents in the document library.
  • Submit your feedback via the submission form by 5pm Sunday 14 February 2021.

    Late submissions will not be accepted.

    Please note that you are required to register to lodge a formal submission.

    • Email Address; and
    • The capacity in which the submission is being made.

    Your submission will need to state if you support or not support the draft policy.
