Have your Voice Heard - Proposed traffic calming measures
The City is proposing to install traffic calming treatments in Quintilian Road (a local access road) as a result of resident concerns in relation to road safety, rat running and speeding vehicles.
The Road currently carries approximately 2,000 vehicles per day. The 85th percentile speed is 57 km per hour. The 85th percentile speed is the speed or below that 85 per cent of the traffic is travelling at. This Road has a posted speed of 50 km per hour. Consequently, there is a recognised speed issue.
