Public Open Space Strategy - We need your help

Are you a user of one of the City's parks, reserves, sports ovals or other public open space in the City? If so, you will be interested in this project and may want to complete the survey and attend other engagement activities.

The City is developing a Public Open Space Strategy for the City of Nedlands. The Strategy will help shape the need for green, accessible parks and reserves across the council area based on current demand and future growth.

This project is being undertaken in a number of stages:

  • Stage 1: Understand how the community value and use the open space
  • Stage 2: Review of feedback, ideas and issues identified
  • Stage 3: Development of the draft Strategy
  • Stage 4: Adoption of the Strategy

Currently, the City is assessing the existing infrastructure, and potential uses and opportunities for each park and seeking your feedback. We want to learn more about how you use your local parks, what you like about them, or what you feel can be improved.

There will be opportunities for you to engage with the City throughout the life of this project.

How can you get involved, find out more or provide feedback?

If you are not already registered, please register on the "Register to get involved" tab on this page. This registration enables you to participate in this project and any other projects on this site. The City can also send you up-dates from time to time.

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

This survey aims to understand how often you use the parks and reserves (public open space) across the City. We are also keen to learn what you find important about our public open space.

The first two sections of the survey (about you and your most preferred park) are compulsory (notated with an *). Sections 3 and 4 are not compulsory. The last section of the survey is the submit section.

Don't forget you can also provide more detailed feedback using the mapping tool by placing pins on any of the parks across the City. A list of the names
