Proposed Whitfeld Street Footpath Upgrade
Consultation has concluded
The City of Nedlands is proposing to construct a new footpath link along Whitfeld Street, Floreat to connect Birkdale Street to Selby Street and other nearby community facilities.
The footpath along Whitfeld Street offers the following community benefits:
- Provide disability access
- Provide a safe environment for pedestrians to access public transport (bus stops)
- Provide a direct, safe and efficient pedestrian connection from Birkdale Street to Selby Street.
Prior to the construction of the footpath, the City would like to understand the community's preference regarding the location of the footpath, particularly, those residents in close proximity to the proposed location. Please provide your feedback online.
