Loch Street, Nedlands - Proposed Parking Restrictions

Consultation has concluded

The volume of traffic and vehcile parking has created sight distance issues for vehicles exiting driveways on Loch Street.

Loch Street is distributor road providing connectivity with other major roads and carries in excess of 7,000 vehicles per day.

As a result it is considered that the provision of parking on both sides of the street is now inappropriate given the function of the street and availability of existing parking on the west side which is under jurisdiction of the Town of Claremont.

Following investigations by the City, it is proposed to install “No Stopping Road or Verge” signs on the east side of Loch Street between Carrington Street and Bedford Street.
