The Proposal
The City of Nedlands received an application proposing 12 x Grouped Dwellings at No. 11 and No. 13 Webster Street, Nedlands. The lots are proposed to be amalgamated to facilitate this Development proposal.

The proposal can be summarised as follows:

The City will notify in writing all nearby property owners and occupiers of this development according to the City’s Local Planning Policy for Community Consultation for Planning Proposals.

Stakeholders are invited to submit feedback online. (THIS SUBMISSION PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED)

Feedback received will be taken into consideration in the development of formal recommendations by the City to the DAP who will make the final decision on the proposed development.

  • JDAP Meeting Scheduled - 6 September

    The Metro West Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) meeting has been scheduled for 9am Monday 6 September 2021 for determination of this application.

    Should you wish to make a presentation to the meeting, this form is required to be filled out and returned to the DAP secretariat.

  • Amended Plans available

    The City recently received amended plans for this proposal, that differed from the advertised plans in the following manner:

    • Increased setbacks to the northern and southern lot boundaries – all external lot boundary setbacks now comply with the deemed-to-comply provisions;
    • Increased open space – all units now comply with the deemed-to-comply provisions;
    • Reduced building height and resultant decrease in overshadowing of the southern adjoining lot; and
    • Increased size of outdoor living areas of the courtyards for Units 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11.

    Community Information Sessions will be held by appointments only on Wednesday 21 July 2021 from 4pm–6pm at the City of Nedlands Council Chambers. The City will have 20-minute appointment slots for community members in which City Planning Officers will be able to assist with general enquiries on this application.

    Due to current limits placed on indoor gatherings and the capacity of the meeting room, confirmed appointments to the Community Information Sessions are essential to able to attend. Those without confirmed appointments will be turned away to facilitate those who have made appointments due to capacity limitations.
