Development Application - 93 and 95 Broadway, Nedlands
Consultation has concluded
The City of Nedlands is inviting your comments relating to a recently submitted Form 2 application relating to the proposed development at Nos. 93 and 95 Broadway, Nedlands. The proposed amendments are minor in nature, and the applicant has elected that the application be determined by the Metro Inner North Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP).
The Proposal
On 14 September 2020, the Metro Inner North Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) conditionally approved an application for a 38 apartment and mixed-use development at 93 and 95 Broadway, Nedlands. Details of the previous application can be found here.
The City of Nedlands has recently received a Form 2 application relating to the recently approved six-storey mixed-use development at Nos. 93 and 95 Broadway, Nedlands.
The proposal can be summarised as follows:
- The applicant is seeking an amendment to the number of commercial car parking bays required by Condition 13 from 5 to 4. A reduction of 1 commercial bay;
- At basement level, one car bay is to be replaced with ‘Pumps and Tanks’ and car park exhaust air duct is to be moved slightly to the east;
- At ground level, an approved vacant area is to be provided with tanks and car park exhaust air duct is to be moved slightly to the east;
- At ground level, one additional motorcycle bay is to be provided in the north-west corner.

The City will notify in writing all nearby property owners and occupiers of this development according to the City’s Local Planning Policy for Community Consultation for Planning Proposals.

Feedback received will be taken into consideration in the development of formal recommendations by the City to the DAP who will make the final decision on the proposed development.
