Consultation has concluded

The City of Nedlands is inviting your comments on amended plans for a previously-approved Development Application (DA) at Lot 394 (No. 20) Cooper Street, Nedlands for 10 x Multiple Dwellings.

The previous application (DAP/20/01781) was approved by the Metro Inner-North Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP).

The amendments can be summarised as follows:

  • Increase in resident car parking bays from 11 to 19 using car stackers.
  • Removal of 1 visitor car parking bay, providing a total of 2 visitor parking bays.
  • Additional planter boxes abutting Unit 4 & 7.
  • An additional 2 trees are proposed in the garden along the eastern boundary.
  • Increase in deep soil planting area from 12% to 19%.
  • Reconfiguration of resident stores and bin stores.
  • Increase in floor level of Unit 5 by 515mm and Unit 8 by 343mm. The overall roof height of Unit 8 has increased by 273mm.

Community comments on the above amendments are sought.

  • 1 single-bedroom dwelling;
  • 1 two-bedroom dwelling;
  • 1 three-bedroom dwelling;
  • Bin store area;

  • 10 storerooms;
  • Communal living area; and
  • Deep soil planting areas.

  • 2 two-bedroom dwellings; and
  • 1 three-bedroom dwelling.

The City will notify in writing all nearby property owners and occupiers of this development according to the City’s Local Planning Policy for Community Consultation for Planning Proposals.

Stakeholders are invited to submit feedback online.

Feedback received will be taken into consideration in the development of formal recommendations by the City to the DAP who will make the final decision on the proposed development.
