Consultation has concluded

The City of Nedlands (City) is developing a new policy to provide a balanced framework for various forms of property tenure, based on a cost recovery model.

The draft policy provides guidance on considerations the City makes on applications to lease, licence or hire a community facility.

The City is currently seeking feedback on the content of the draft Policy: Lease, Licence, Exclusive Licence and Hire of Community Facilities. A copy has been included in the information bar on the right of your screen.

Please provide your feedback by completing the Community Facilities Survey below.

Your feedback will be considered by Council before the policy is finalised. The consultation period will run from Thursday 27 April to Friday 23 June 2023.

All survey submissions must be received by 5pm on Friday 23 June 2023.

Important Note: This request for feedback only applies to community groups and sporting clubs that currently hold a lease/licence agreement for a City facility.

  • An essential part of how the City best manages its Community facilities is to understand the way clubs and groups are currently using them.

Only an authorised representative from the club, group or organisation is able to complete the survey. For community groups/clubs this would typically be the President, Secretary or Treasurer.

This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
