Are you a user of Carrington Park? Do you use the park with your dog, or playground with your children?
If so, you may be interested in attending a community information session at Carrington Park on Tuesday 19 of November from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

During the on-site information session, residents and park users are invited to speak with council staff to discuss the current turf conditions as well as provide feedback on current and future park furniture.

    Section 2 of Carrington Park dog park will be temporarily closed for turf renovations commencing Wednesday 25 March 2020. No vehicles will be permitted on the newly laid turf areas in Section 2 and this area will remain closed for the next 4-6 weeks.

    Section 1, will be reopened for use on the same day and signage changed to reflect this.

    New seating will also be installed in the coming fortnight.

    Section 1 of Carrington Park dog park is now temporarily closed for turf renovations to proceed.
    This area will remain closed for the next 4-6 weeks and then reopen to allow Section 2 to follow the same procedure.

    Thank you for attending our Carrington Park information session which we held on site back in November 2019.

    At the session the City gathered feedback from you regarding the current and future park furniture. From your feedback we have developed a concept plan which includes the following changes/additions:

    • Location of new multipurpose log (similar to original log)
    • Proposal to raise seat height of the aluminium picnic table
    • Positioning of wooden picnic tables reconfigured
    • 2x new bench seats along border/garden beds

    The concept plan is available for viewing in the document library and you can provide feedback here. Feedback regarding the changes and new furniture will be accepted prior to Friday 31 January.
