Carrington Park - Amenity Improvements
Consultation has concluded
Are you a user of Carrington Park? Do you use the park with your dog, or playground with your children?
If so, you may be interested in attending a community information session at Carrington Park on Tuesday 19 of November from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
During the on-site information session, residents and park users are invited to speak with council staff to discuss the current turf conditions as well as provide feedback on current and future park furniture.
Please note the engagement period for this project is now closed. Further updates will be posted to this page via Newsfeed tab.
How can you get involved, find out more or provide feedback?
- Attend the Community Information Session
- Complete a short Survey by 5pm Monday 25 November
- Provide your thoughts via the Feedback tool
Contact a member of the Project Team via Who's Listening
Further updates will be posted to this page via the Newsfeed tool.
The time scheduled for the information session excludes people who work full time like myself. Please re-consider your timing. I also think that the Council should seriously reconsider the reduced area that is now allocated to the dog park and has resulted in overuse and damage to lawn. The dog park is a hugely popular amenity for dog owners. There are not many fenced dog parks. Clearly there is a big demand that isn't being met. Don't fill the already small space up with more furniture.
