Bishop Road Reserve

Are you a user of Bishop Road Reserve or live nearby? Do you use the reserve with your children, exercise your dog, or visit the reserve to socialise with your friends, or to enjoy the surrounds? Are you interested in water conservation and learning new practices to conserve this finite resource? If so, you will be interested in this draft enviro-scape master plan for this important City park.

Enviro-scape master planning involves identifying and researching a range of issues and constraints, opportunities to improve the management and presentation of the Reserve with the aim of developing a strategic vision for its future use and development, aligned to current service levels and budgets.

Issues considered include the natural and built environment, water quality and conservation, climate change, accessibility, amenity, community use and ensuring the park is fit for purpose.

  • If you would rather provide individual feedback, please use the feedback tab

  • You can also send a written submission to the City, PO Box 9, Nedlands, 6909, or drop into the Administration Centre at 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands.

Please note that all feedback is assessed regardless of the tool that is used. It is advisable to provide your feedback using the tool that best suits your needs. Multiple submissions by an individual is assessed as one submission. All feedback received via email and by letter will also be placed on this engagement page.

    The City is no longer accepting submissions in regards to the draft enviro-scape master plan for the future management of Bishop Road Reserve.

    The City will now analyse and consider your feedback and report to Council, with further updates to be posted to this page.

    A draft enviro-scape master plan has been prepared for the future management of Bishop Road Reserve and your feedback is invited.

    The aim is to develop a strategic vision for the park’s future use and development, aligned to current service levels and budgets. Issues to be considered include the natural and built environment, water quality and conservation and climate change, along with accessibility, amenity, community use and ensuring the precinct is fit for purpose.

    The final vision will be presented as a concept plan with accompanying explanatory text. It will feature a range of initiatives to address existing and possible limitations so regular parks users and residents are provided for now and into the future.
