Community feedback invited on proposed Asquith Street and Mt Claremont Village Precinct Upgrade
The City is seeking community feedback on a proposed upgrade of Asquith Street between Rochdale Road and Adderley Street in Mt Claremont. The draft design includes road reconstruction, drainage improvements, upgraded footpaths and kerbing, landscaping enhancements, and improvements around the Asquith Street and Strickland Street intersection. The project also proposes reducing the speed limit from 50 km/h to 40 km/h between Rochdale Road and Landon Way, subject to Main Roads WA approval.
Feedback from residents, businesses, visitors and road users will help inform the final design before the project progresses to procurement and future construction planning. Consultation is open until 5pm, Wednesday 15 July 2026.
