The City of Nedlands is inviting your comments on a development application to amend an existing approval for a commercial development at 80 Stirling Highway, Nedlands.
The Proposal
The City of Nedlands has recently received a development application to amend the approval for a commercial development (shopping centre) containing a supermarket and 15 other tenancies. The amendments include:
Decreased leasable area of 7756m2 to 7646m2 (110m2 less)
Increase in tenancies from 16 to 21 (tenancy areas are reducing to achieve this).
Increase in building height of approximately 0.5m in some areas
Reduction in the number of total parking bays from 421 to 419 (reduction of two bicycle bays)
Minor changes to façade materials and internal planning
