SUBMISSIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED ON THIS PROPOSAL

The City of Nedlands is inviting your comments community in relation to the proposed relocation of the loading bay on the east side of Adelma Road just north of Waratah Avenue.

The loading bay currently adjoins a lot which has been conditionally approved for subdivision by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC). As part of the conditional subdivision, the lots have been granted street access onto Adelma Road. The existing loading bay must therefore be removed to facilitate access to the newly created lots.

The City is reviewing a proposal to relocate the loading bay to the west side of Adelma Road in order to retain a loading bay on the street for the existing commercial developments. No street trees are proposed to be removed as a result of the relocation of the loading bay.

Should the proposal proceed, the design works will need final approval by the City’s Technical Services, with the owner of the newly subdivided lot responsible for the construction or the cost of the works.

SUBMISSION PERIOD: 27 May to 10 June 2022
