The City in conjunction with the Swanbourne Coastal Alliance have completed this project. $22,423.50 was received from the Western Australian Planning Commission through the Coastwest Grants Program 2015/16 to undertake the project “Restoration of Degraded Areas – Swanbourne Dunes”.

5100 coastal seedlings were planted which increased the ecological value of the coastal dunes by reducing erosion and invasive weeds as well as increasing habitat and improving the aesthetics of the area. Ongoing weed control and maintenance of green stock to be undertaken as required.

THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED.
