Fundraising for the All Abilities Play Space is well underway. This is a big project, based on a big idea: to bring inclusive play to the whole of Perth. It will be a large-scale, innovative, state-of-the-art play facility that has been purpose-designed to meet everyone’s needs, regardless of their age or ability.

The All Abilities Play Space will be located at Beaton Park on the Nedlands foreshore of the beautiful Swan River. This stunning site will welcome families from throughout Perth, in a statement of inclusion.

This project would not be possible without the Rotary Clubs of Nedlands, Subiaco, West Perth and Matilda Bay, Inclusion WA, Lotterywest, Wood and Grieves Engineers and Australia’s Bridge.

For further information on the project, please refer to the engagement page or the City's web page, http://www.nedlands.wa.gov.au/all-abilities-play-space

It's an exciting time for the City with the demolition works completed and construction underway. The new concrete slab for the larger new change rooms has been laid and the brick work has been started. The roof over the hall is also being removed for replacement.

The main hall will be fully refurbished and will receive a fresh clean new look to match the new sections of the facility.

Temporary toilets are available on site and the majority of the car park is still available for use.
