Feedback - Dealing with the Tough Stuff - Volunteer Management Training 18 Feb 2020

The Nedlands VRC in partnership with Melville VRC provided a Volunteer Management Training Workshop on Tuesday 18 February held at John Leckie Pavilion, Nedlands.

Facilitated by Dr Megan Paull the training workshop titled "Dealing with the Tough Stuff" focused on developing skills in managing some of the difficult aspects when engaging with volunteers.

Forty one volunteer managers attended from 30 organisations. Local not for profits who attended included Solaris Cancer Care, Cat Haven, Dogs Refuge and Ronald McDonald House. An overall participant satisfaction rating of 91% was received for the training.

Feedback received from a workshop participant summed up the overall success of this training in these words:

"Thank you for organising this training. The workshop was excellent, presenter knowledge and delivery extremely good. The topic was very relevant and learning takeaways from the training will be useful when dealing with the tough stuff situations in my volunteer management position."
