The Proposal

The City of Nedlands has recently received an application for a six storey mixed use development comprising 38 residential apartments and an office located at No.93 & 95 Broadway, Nedlands. The proposal can be summarised as follows:

  • 8 x three bedroom apartments
  • 14 x two bedroom apartments
  • 16 x single bedroom apartments, with 9 containing a study
  • 1 x office tenancy located at ground level
  • 64 residential car parking bays including 6 residential visitor car parking bays
  • 4 commercial bays, plus 1 ACROD bay

How can I make a comment about the proposed Development Application?

The City will notify in writing all nearby property owners and occupiers of this development according to the City’s Local Planning Policy for Community Consultation for Planning Proposals.

Stakeholders are invited to submit feedback online.

Feedback received will be taken into consideration in the development of formal recommendations by the City to the DAP who will make the final decision on the proposed development.

    The Metro West Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) meeting has been scheduled for 9.30am Monday 14 September 2020 for determination of this application.

    A Community Information Session will be held by appointment only on  1 July 2020 between 4pm and 6pm at the City of Nedlands Council Chambers. The City will have 20 minute appointment slots for community members in which City Planning Officers will be able to assist with general enquiries on this application.

    Due to current limits placed on indoor gatherings and the capacity of the meeting room, confirmed appointments to the Community Information Sessions are essential to able to attend. Those without confirmed appointments will be turned away to facilitate those who have made appointments due to capacity limitations.
