How well is the City of Nedlands performing in waste recovery?

The City ranks among the top three local governments, with an overall recovery rate of 63%, delivering exceptional value for money achieving State Government set recovery targets.

Community perception surveys have confirmed that the City’s waste services are among the top in terms of service delivery and resident satisfaction.

The City anticipates 100% of non-recyclable/residual waste will be converted using waste to energy technology in coming years. It is expected that this will result in the City’s overall recover rate increase from 65% to over 91%.
