Swanbourne Beach Playground Renewal 2023

The City is progressing with a renewal of the Swanbourne Beach Playground to replace playground equipment that has reached the end of its life. The Swanbourne Beach playground is located on the Swanbourne Beach foreshore at the northern end of Marine Parade, Swanbourne. The foreshore area sits along the front of the Swanbourne Surf Life Saving Club and The Shorehouse Café. This area also has a grassed picnic space with shelters, seating and barbeques.

The City is seeking feedback from the community about the four playground design options available for Swanbourne Beach. These design options include nautical themed mixed playground, a traditional modular style playground, and a nature playground.

We are also looking for the community's views on the following:

• Playground accessibility;
• Types of equipment to include;
• Whether or not the new playground should be fenced;
• Any relevant ideas to enhance this playground area.
