Construction works have taken longer than anticipated due to site issues and appropriate weather conditions to allow the work to be completed.
The showers and accessory furniture should be completed within the next two to three weeks.

The upgrade of the showers are underway, however work has slowed due to the delay in receiving the stainless steel grates.

New beach showers are being installed on the concrete boardwalk area adjacent to the Swanbourne Beach access stairway. These showers will improve the amenity of the area and provide improved facilities which will also include towel rails and a bench seat.
The current beach showers will be closing during May 2017 following the completion of the work.
