John XXIII Depot - Proposed Upgrade

CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.

The City is planning to upgrade the John XXIII Depot (Res 45054) on the original Brockway tip site (see document library to review the proposed plans).

The upgrade will include paving the access way (Res 45632) off John XXIII Avenue, managing materials in appropriate storage, paving the hardstand and provision of utilities to the site. Furthermore, the upgrade will greatly improve the aesthetics of the site and significantly reduce the potential for dust creation. The depot is designed to be a regional facility with two areas leased to adjoining Local Governments.

It is anticipated Council will consider the upgrade at its meeting scheduled for 26 June 2018 and if approved the works will commence in the new financial year.
