Footpath Upgrades - Stirling Highway between Kinninmont Ave & Smyth Rd

The City is undertaking footpath upgrade works on Stirling Highway, between Kinninmont Avenue and Smyth Road and community members and road users may be inconvenienced while this work is being undertaken.

Civcon will carry out the footpath rehabilitation works and commencing Monday 8 June 2020 between the hours of 9:00am – 7:00pm.

The works should be completed within a two-week timeframe, dependent on weather/resources and will include:

• Demolition of existing footpath and kerb
• Service adjustments
• Installation of new kerb and drainage
• Installation of new brick paved footpath; and
• Accommodation works.

Please note that some preparatory works will need to be undertaken outside of these dates and may include survey and paint markings.

Lane closures will be in place with detours around the work site. Local traffic will continue to have access whilst closures are in place, and on-site traffic controllers will be happy to assist. View the site location via the Document Library.
