Point Resolution Greenway
The City has now completed stage 1 of the Point Resolution Greenway. This project expanded the existing Greenway corridor at Point Resolution Reserve by revegetating part of the grassed parkland with local provenance seedlings. This project involved removing invasive weeds during March and April and installing certified mulch and 3500 water-wise, low-growing, locally occurring native shrubs and ground covers in June. This project has increased the area of bushland at Point Resolution and it assists the City to protect biodiversity, improve habitats and connectivity for local fauna as well as increasing the City’s capacity to absorb greenhouse gas emissions.
