Marine Parade - Coastal dune revegetation project

The revegetation project is now progressing with signage installed on the site. Site preparation has commenced including initial control of priority weeds such as Pelargonium, trachyandra and tetragonia and brushing works has also commenced to stabilise the dunes.

The project includes the revegetation of degraded areas along the coastal dunes, and an intensive restoration in an area at the most northern end of Marine Parade, Swanbourne adjacent to the Shorehouse Restaurant, and within the Swanbourne sand dunes.

The revegetation project is supported by the Swanbourne Coastal Alliance and The Western Australian Planning Commission's Coastwest Grants Program 2015/16.
