Kirwan and Whitfeld Streets Floreat - Proposal to change parking restrictions - Clarification

The City has become aware that the parking prohibitions as stated in the report and letter sent to residents is causing some confusion in relation to parking on the south side of Kirwan and Whitfeld Streets.

The City will be placing a "No Parking" sign on the south side of Kirwan Street and Whitfeld Street between Birkdale and Selby Street to prohibit parking in this area.

Council at is meeting on Tuesday, 25 June approved:

• 3-hour parking prohibitions on the north side of Kirwan Street and Whitfeld Street, between Birkdale Street and Selby Street; and
• 'No parking' prohibitions on the south side of Kirwan Street and Whitfeld Street between Birkdale Street and Selby Street.

Permits are available for residents and their visitors wishing to park beyond the proposed 3 hour restriction. To apply for a permit, please refer to the guide and application form on the City’s website.

Please organise a parking permit by Friday, 26 July 2019, as after this time the new parking restrictions will be implemented.
