Iris Avenue Gardens - Bollard and swing gate installation

CLOSED: This comment period has concluded.

In April 2020, the City of Nedlands is proposing to install perimeter bollards and a swing gate at Iris Avenue Gardens, corner of Jutland Parade and Iris Avenue, Dalkeith.

The bollards proposed for installation will be charcoal in colour and manufactured from sustainable recycled plastic. A metal swing gate will also be installed adjacent to the existing car park to retain access for service vehicles. The bollards will preserve the turf and gardens currently maintained on the site. The objective is to reduce the potential for unauthorised vehicle access and subsequent park damage.

The bollards are proposed to be installed approximately one (1) metre from the kerbline. The City can re-assess this alignment should community feedback indicate a mutually agreeable alternative.
