The Nedlands VRC in partnership with Melville VRC provided a Volunteer Management Training Workshop on Tuesday 12 March 2019 held at the Mt Claremont Community Centre.

Facilitated by Hancock Creative Inc the training workshop titled “Social Media : How to write content creatively" presented ideas and explored the communication principles of writing content persuasively.

Thirty Volunteer Managers attended from eighteen volunteer involving organisations, including Solaris Cancer Care, Fellowship of Australian Writers WA, Oz Harvest, Cycling without Age, Pets of Older Persons, Munda Biddi Trail Foundation and Legacy.

An acknowledgement received from a workshop participant summed up the overall success of this training in these words:

"I have been to many workshops during my career and the saying is "if you come away with one thing, it's a good workshop". I came away with pages. Cannot recommend highly enough. Lisa from Hancock Creative was an engaging presenter. Thank you."
