Draft Local Planning Policy - Waratah Village Precinct Context and Character

In accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2005 Schedule 2, Part 2, Clause 4 the City of Nedlands has prepared and advertises Draft Local Planning Policy Waratah Village Precinct Context & Character.

The purpose of this Policy is to establish the desired future character of the Waratah Village Precinct. The desired future character is defined through broad objectives that seek to highlight valued elements of the streetscape character that the City identified through undertaking character surveys.

The Policy is available for viewing in the document library and at the City Offices and available for comment via the Your Voice submission form.

Submissions close Saturday 5pm, 1 May 2021.

The City will review and advertise local planning policies on a case-by-case basis depending on the extent of the changes and in line with the Deemed provisions.
