Council Approves a range of Local Planning Policies at December Council Meeting
The Council at their Meeting on in December 2019 resolved to:
- Prepare and advertise a range of policies these included; the Waste Management Local Planning Policy, the Residential Aged Care Facilities Local Planning Policy and the Waratah Village Laneway Requirements Local Planning Policy.
- Adopt the Residential Development Local Planning Policy – Please note that Clause 4.8 requires approval from the West Australian Planning Commission in line with the State Planning Policy 7.3 Residential Design Codes Volume 2 Section 1.2.3.

The advertised policies are available for viewing in the document library and available for comment via submission form. Closing date for submissions on Policies being advertised is 8 February 2020.

The City will review and advertise local planning policies on a case-by-case basis depending on the extent of the changes and in line with the Deemed provisions.
