Council Adopts Parking Local Planning Policy
The Council at their Meeting in September 2019 resolved to adopt the Parking Local Planning Policy. The purpose of this policy is to define standards for car parking for non-residential and residential developments.
Please note that the Residential Parking Ratios require approval from the West Australian Planning Commission in line with the State Planning Policy 7.3 Residential Design Codes Volume 2 Section 1.2.3.

The City will review and advertise local planning policies on a case-by-case basis depending on the extent of the changes and in line with the Deemed provisions.
