SUBMISSIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED ON THIS APPLICATION

Amended Plans were received on 19 April 2022. Broadly, the changes are as follows:

  • Removal of one top floor unit.
  • Addition of 11 parking bays.
  • Internal layout reconfiguration.
  • Reduction in size of commercial tenancies and cafe.
  • Reduction in setbacks to north, south and west.
  • Increase in deep soil area and planting on structure.

The plans have been updated and are available to download.

The Proposal

The City of Nedlands has recently received an application for a seven storey mixed use development. Please note that the Metro Inner-North Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP) is the determining body for this application, not the City.

The proposal can be summarised as follows:

  • 7 storey development
  • 11 Multiple dwellings
  • 12 Holiday Accommodation (short stay dwellings)
  • 3 Commercial/Office units
  • 1 Café
  • Landscaping planted on structure with some deep soil areas at ground level
  • 12 bike racks
  • Communal amenity room on a portion of the top floor

    Community Information Sessions will be held by appointments only on Wednesday 17 November from 4pm–6pm at the City of Nedlands Council Chambers. The City will have 20-minute appointment slots for community members in which City Planning Officers will be able to assist with general enquiries on this application. This is an informal session to ask questions of officers however there is no presentation.

    Due to the capacity of the meeting room, confirmed appointments to the Community Information Sessions are essential to able to attend.
