The City of Nedlands has recently received an application for a Residential Multiple Dwelling Development at No. 12 Philip Road, Dalkeith.

The proposal can be summarised as follows:

  • A total of ten (10) multiple dwellings, comprising of:
    • Four (4) three-bedroom / three-bathroom apartments;
    • Four (4) three-bedroom / two-bathroom apartments;
    • Two (2) two-bedroom / two-bathroom apartments.
  • Twenty (20) residential car bays;
  • Three (3) visitor bays.
  • Each unit is provided with either a private courtyard or balcony.
  • The proposed development is four (4) storeys high including a roof terrace.

The City will notify in writing all nearby property owners and occupiers of this development according to the City’s Local Planning Policy for Community Consultation for Planning Proposals.

Stakeholders are invited to submit feedback online

Feedback received will be taken into consideration in the development of formal recommendations by the City to the DAP who will make the final decision on the proposed development.

    Community Information Sessions will be held by appointments only on Monday 15 February 2021 from 4pm–6pm at the City of Nedlands Council Chambers. The City will have 20-minute appointment slots for community members in which City Planning Officers will be able to assist with general enquiries on this application.

    If you registered for our previous Community Information Session that was subsequently cancelled due to COVID 19 lockdown, we kindly request you call the City to book in a new time.

    Due to current limits placed on indoor gatherings and the capacity of the meeting room, confirmed appointments to the Community Information Sessions are essential to able to attend. Those without confirmed appointments will be turned away to facilitate those who have made appointments due to capacity limitations.

    Due to the Western Australian State Government directive, the Perth metropolitan area and the Peel and South-West regions have entered a 5-day lockdown (effective from 6pm Sunday, 31 January 2021 until 6pm Friday, 5 February 2021).

    As a result, the planned Community Information Session for 3rd February 2021 for 12 Philip Road, Dalkeith has been CANCELLED.

    We will provide further updates as to when a Community Information Session will be held as soon as possible.
