All Abilities Play Space
Consultation has concluded
Phase 1 of the long awaited All Abilities Play Space at Beaton Park on the Nedlands foreshore of the Swan River in Dalkeith has been completed.
A huge 10,000-square-metre playground takes advantage of the natural environment on the banks of the Swan River has been purpose-designed to cater for children with disabilities and their families as well as teenagers, adults and older people, to play together with everyone using the same equipment.
The All Abilities Play Space is an inclusive, inter-generational play space for use by all in the Perth metropolitan area. It will be a large scale, innovative, state-of-the-art play facility that is purpose designed to meet the play needs of all, regardless of their age or ability.
Coinciding with these works, is a staged process to construct a rock revetment wall, including landscaping along the foreshore.
