Do all City of Nedlands Community Groups need to participate in the survey?
It is mandatory to complete the survey and supply all required documentation. As community leaseholders are afforded concessions such as financial assistance with rent and outgoings, it is mandatory that all information requested is provided to the City accurately and honestly.
Leaseholders are also required under their lease agreement to provide proof of current Public Liability Insurance, any other required insurances, and maintenance certificates (if maintenance responsibilities fall to the Lessee).
Why is the City of Nedlands considering adopting this new policy?
The City is undertaking this audit to improve the delivery of Club Development services and assess the use of the City’s leased facilities.
It will assist with collecting up to date contact details to ensure the City can share training and workshop opportunities, funding opportunities, as well as other information and resources with our valued Community Groups to improve their performance and build capability.
