Consultation has concluded

The City of Nedlands and the Town of Cambridge have been awarded a Road Rehabilitation Grant for $580,000 from the Metropolitan Regional Road Group to upgrade the intersection at Brockway Road, Brookdale Street and Underwood Avenue.

The proposed design is intended to increase safety, reduce congestion, and reduce the overall number of and severity of crashes. Pedestrian and cyclist facilities will also be improved along with improving visibility from an upgrade to the street lighting and LED technology upgrade of the traffic signals.

Both the Town of Cambridge and the City of Nedlands are pleased that the safety issues at this intersection have been recognised by Main Roads WA and the funding for the upgrade to the intersection goes a long way to help enhance and improve road safety within the City.
